Brussels Airport Company (BAC) and 25 other companies operating at the airport use the trunking facilities (approximately +/- 1,300 aircraft) daily for both airside and landside operations (e.g. fire brigade, security, landside, and passenger services).

During unforeseen circumstances extra equipment is needed, for example with winter operations (about 40 extra equipment).

To implement the new Push-to-talk solution at the airport, BAC needs a new infrastructure (backbone, antennas and cabling infrastructure) including the aircraft.

The service must be available 24/7, even in the event of public 3G/4G and Wi-Fi outages.
